What is the difference between a personal care aide and a home health aide?
A personal care aide (PCA) helps with everyday tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, light housekeeping and meals. A home health aide (HHA) does all of that and has extra training to help with health-related tasks under a nurse's plan of care, such as help with medications or simple exercises.
Does Medicaid pay for home care in Monroe County?
